If you care about your connections get the Knipex. If you don't mind destroying your fittings and nuts, keep using the Channellocks!. The main reason I prefer this tool over similiar ones is one handed operation. As an electrician I frequently need to be able to work the tool and associated hardware with one hand. This tool does it all and better. The position you select stays locked. You can easily extend opening with one hand using thumb toi unlock ratchet. Your choice, carry 12 to 16 metric and imperial open end wrenches or one of these. Quality hardware and engineeering throughout, built to last. Last minor plus, the ends of plier slimline compared to wider compitition, will be easier to get into tight fit. Highly recommend!
